BodyWorlds 3

On Monday 10/1/07, Thorin, my mom and I went to OMSI to see the BodyWorlds 3 exhibit. This is an exhibit of preserved human bodies. Here is a Wiki link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_Worlds

We got in for $15/each instead of $21/each thanks to my work discount. It was well worth it. Anyone considering medicine as an occupation really should see this exhibit. I found it very educational and interesting. It seemed like a once in a lifetime experience. Yes, I understand that they have been other BodyWorlds exhibits already but it is so unusual to see bodies like this.

I really appreciated how tasteful the bodies were displayed. These people donated their bodies and I feel that they are being treated well.

The exhibit was so good I purchased the book about the exhibit for $29.99. I can not express how interesting this event was. Thorin also seemed to have a good time and I think that may have largely been due to he and I spending some quality time together doing something.
