Lutefisk Dinner 11/11/2007

On Sunday Grieg Lodge, Sons of Norway, hosted it's annual Lutefisk dinner at NorseHall. There were four dinner seatings 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm and 6pm. Believe it or not, all four seatings were completely sold out. The menu also had the option of meatballs if Lutefisk wasn't your thing.

I volunteered to serve the 12 pm and 2pm seatings. Inge (I hope I spelled that right) and I had three tables we took care of. This was the first time I had ever met Inge and she was a lot of fun. She is such a hard diligent worker, even though were were only volunteers! It is so amazing to see how cheerful the volunteers are even while they are doing things like scrapping dirty dishes. Overall, it might actually be more fun to volunteer for this event then to be waited on.
