This evening I installed my second garbage disposal. About 6 or so years ago I replaced the disposal that came with the house and this evening I finally replaced that one which broke about 4 months ago.
When I put the first one in, I watched Kate & Leopold so I thought I should do the same again. It was heavy just like last time and I ran into roadblocks, just like last time. In the end, the disposals got installed.
There is only one real problem with this new disposal. I know that the box said that this one was much quieter, but I really didn't expect it to be this quiet! It is quieter than the water running! I am not sure I like that since I like knowing it is on and the sound always served as a good warning of the danger with the disposal. I'm sure I will get over it though. :)
