This evening I returned my HP Pavilion laptop to Costco. It had a 90 day return policy and since I could not get the web cam to work consistently even though I followed the directions from 4 online help chat sessions, it needed to be returned. The options were to send it into HP which they said could take around 14 business days for it to be returned to me or return it to Costco.
Since Costco didn't have another laptop of this version, I am going to use my old laptop. Costco credited my credit card the full amount and there were not problems returning the laptop. Of course I tried really hard to include everything and to pack it nicely.
I am sad to lose my laptop. Oh well!
