On Saturday, I woke up really tired and had a little bit of a sore throat. I considered that I might be getting sick since my brain wasn't working so well. It took way to long to get out the door on Saturday morning to get on my way to Seattle.
When I woke up on Sunday morning, I was pretty sure I was sick. Surely I snored the evening before due to being sick but the good news was I slept on the formal living room floor (also called the playroom by the kids) in my sleeping bag without worries of waking others in the house. Once I got home on Sunday early afternoon, being sick hit me harder. I was so tired and took a nap. I can feel that whatever I have is in my chest and I have a headache that doesn't seem to want to go away.
I have taken all of my vitamins and have been drinking good teas. I also went for a 1/2 hour walk with my nephew to hopefully try to shake this. Over the years I keep hearing that some physical activity along with lots of liquids and rest will help. Since I think I would be cranky and coughing really annoyingly I decided to stay home from work today. Since daytime television is so awful, I have decided to not turn it on. Why make the situation worse?
Being sick sucks. There is so much I need to get done around the house. I should take a picture of the fabulous weed crop I have going so you could see how much there is to do!
I can't decide if I should push too much physically today. I really should be at work! :(
