Elvis!

On Monday I got a large envelope in the mail with a return address of Tennessee. When I looked closer, I realized it was from my friend James who recently retired from Windsor Forestry Tools.

I couldn't wait to get into the house to open the envelope and I pulled out an 8 x 11 color copy of Elvis, autographed of course! For James' retirement from the company someone had cropped his face onto a photo of Elvis and he has sent that to me signed. James is my favorite "Elvis" and sure was a gentleman every time we worked together and was always forthcoming when I asked questions about the crops in Tennessee.

It took almost an hour for the smile on my face to ware down. As I write this, the smile returns again. It was so wonderful that "Elvis" thought of me and sent this note to me. He was right, I am extremely happy to receive this gift. I just love it!

Now I need to decide what to do with the photo. I think I will see if I can scan it in color and post it here. ;P
