Hard Not to Smile

It is hard not to smile a little today. This morning I got to watch a brief beautiful sunrise on my real first white Christmas. The sun was so beautiful orange and yellow behind the green evergreen trees with the blue grey sky above. It didn't take long for the sunrise to be swallowed by the grey weather, but it was there and I saw it with my vanilla latte.

I am making some BBQ buns and oatmeal cranberry cookies and watching some sort of Hallmark type show. 

What a wonderful day.....
