Last night I helped my 17 year old nephew clean his room. We made it at least presentable and devoid of science experiments. It was kind of nice to work with my nephew on the room. He made sure we had music to work to the entire time.
It took roughly 1.5 hours but the time went by quickly. Now he needs to go through all of his boxes from the move into the new room as well as determine what items need to be donated to charity. He has outgrown a lot of his stuff.
He has been working at Pietro's Pizza and I am so proud of his attitude toward work. He is genuinely thankful for having the job. He and his mom are going to get his bank accounts opened at the credit union near where he works.
Did I mention how proud of him I am?
