Warning Labels Should Be REQUIRED!

Recently I borrowed a romance novel from a friend. The book seemed very harmless. It is called The Highlander's Touch by Karen Marie Moning. Really... if all romance novels are like this one, they really need to put some sort of warning on it such as "May cause a mild case of insomnia." I was up way past my bedtime 2 nights in a row and finished the book before 7:30 pm today (if I would have had the day off it would have been done sooner I am sure).

It isn't like this novel was really all that realistic. Who has ever heard of an early 20's virgin in the 21 century who has no idea she is beautiful even though she has a perfect body and perfect hair? Who while working at the museum touches a flask and is transported back in time to a 14th century Scottish bathtub where a hunky hot single Scot is bathing? I know you are concerned about what she will do in Scotland during this period but it seems all works out in the end. The severely hot Highlander falls in love with her and fixes all of the wrongs in her life.

It was a fun read, especially since television has been so lame lately. Also, it seems to have an ability to keep you from thinking too much about work or other issues that may be pressing your thoughts. How cool is that? I totally forgot about work! That alone suggests that I should find another one of these! :)
