Ringtones

I FINALLY figured out how to send my own ringtones to my phone! Verizon sure doesn't make it easy. Just so I remember how I did this, here is what finally worked.

• I create the ringtone using GarageBand, then click Share-->Send Song to iTunes (this is important as I needed to be able to save the clip as an mp3 version or my phone will not accept the file via bluetooth). 
  
• I save the clip in a clearly identifiable itunes folder. 
  
• Then I go to my bluetooth window and send the file to the sounds folder on my phone.
  
• Once on my phone, I text message myself with this sound file attached. 
  
• When I get the file back there is an option to save the sound file with the text message as a ringtone.
