Oh the shoes, the shoes how wonderful the shoes are!
This is my second year going to the Dr. Martens Warehouse shoe sale. My friend Charity allowed me once again to be her 4th person since the invitation only event only allows 4 per invitation. I was able to buy 9 pairs of shoes for a total of $160. The kids shoes are $15 each while the adults are $30. It really is too good of a deal to pass up. It turns out my ladies size 6 US is considered kids by Dr. Martens (size 4 UK) so my shoes were $15.
In the end, I only got two of the 9 pairs. The rest are for friends and family as gifts or purchases they asked me to get. The tallest boots are mine. I really wish the red pair would have fit me!
After the shoe sale the group of us went to a great little pub on Fremont and 48th which had the best crab bisque soup ever! I also had the IPA beer and a turkey french dip sandwich. I must say, the food at that place was really really good. Too bad I can't remember the name of the place. The good news is that I can find it again without any trouble.
