This Christmas I have chosen to support a family in need. I am so thankful my friend Tracy found this family through her church and will be embarking on this adventure with me. The family would be missing Christmas this year and the single mother already told her three girls Christmas would not be much this year. She didn't ask for help, but with Tracy's urging, the pastor of the church reached out to this family. They are willing to let us do a little something.

It is great to give people a "leg-up" versus a hand-out.
